Shareholder rights is a big Deal. This is how Benjamin Graham and Warren B and there budies have unlocked huge dollars for themselves and their clients.
Even a handfull, say 20-50 shareholders with 3k average shares each vote for Mr. Dale Carroway, it should get him a 3 minute speech in at the shareholder meeting. Let it build for a few years and the small shareholders could have a seat. At least the board will think twice before giving away the store to management.
My 3k shares will be voted, and encourage other's as well. I don't normaly post on the boards, but this seems a worthwhile cause.
Let's not write in the wrong name. Re: message #18823 isn't quite right, according to Dale himself, it's "Caraway", see msg. #18806. I see where you can write in a name on the line after the 3rd X. I have a good question. Do we withhold all nominees? If we write in Dale, we should eliminate at least one of the recommended Directors. Who do any one of you folks recommend that we eliminate (Baker, or Cushman)? It would really be nice if we had an impact. My 20,600 shares that I have in three accounts won't have that much affect. I'm hoping some of you (maybe all?) will do this as well. Thanks, RL (Ray Lewis)
Would you please send me directions from Dallas-Fort Worth Airport to location of MT sharehlder meeting on July 20th. (Thursday) I am consider- ing whether to attend in order to personally support your candidacy for the Board of Directors: Bradley McDonald,900 17th St. NW, Suite 1250, Washington, D.C 2006-2501. Looking at the chart, it appears we broke through (just barely) the resistance at 3 1/2 today. Next resistance is 4 1/2 and then 6 with possibly a slight resistance at 5. Loaded up on this one three days ago at 2 1/4 based on chart indication. Beyond 6, we will need some kind of positive news, but, it can do 6 just on momentum. Should be fun owning MT for a change!
