Should we sue G & PG about the $$$$$

"Didn't PG announce this week the financial impact of the G merger? "

Only question I have regarding the impact is whether or not the impact of the proposed stock buyback was included in the analysis or if it was based on current shares outstanding.

Based upon the % dilution (~10-12% of estimated earnings)), it would appear the company is making this statement PRIOR to any stock buyback(s)--which is why there wasn't much change to PG share price after they announced the dilutive effect on next 2-3 years earnings...the market had already estimated the dilution, and all PG did was to quantify in earnings what the stock purchase of G will affect. If PG comes through with it's proposed stock buyback, earnings continue to grow in the 10-12% range and there are no major economic meltdowns, PG will show a surprise uptick in earnings in the 2006-2007 FY (vs. what they stated in their press release).
