"...in this current quarter, our same store sales are up, and our gross margin has rebounded. We continue to target opening 10 new full price stores in 2013 with smaller footprints in top locations. Our recently opened store in Tysons Galleria is a good example. At just 1000 square feet, it is now our fourth best-performing full price store."
I only heard a portion of the call yesterday, read it on seekingalpha this morning. I missed the fact that Nordstrom's and Bloomingdales have both agreed to expand the doors for Joe's in the 2nd half of this year. Not sure how many doors they're going from or expanding to, but that could be very significant for Q's 3 and 4.
Ten new stores is a lot of stores lets hope one or two are opened between now and next Q. The 1000 Sf
ones are the money makers that is great news on the best performing full price store. I listened to a cc call
from True Religion and Perry Elis both said that the collared dennim kicked but on them and both Co's were looking for the regular dennim to come back this year so it looks like Joe's is in front of the fashion trend yet.
To me if you look at all the good things that are coming this is a small thing.
Can't wate to listen to the call.
