I expect these services to be irrelevant. Just like all their other attempts at marketing to and through their teeny weeny podunkville resellers.
I mean really, does anybody want these services? Apparanty not. A list of Tucows failures.
1. Digital Certificates 2. Filtered email 3. Shareware...that's right Shareware can you believe that they thought they would build a business around of shareware? 4. Boardtown Platypus software 5. Blogrolling 6. Blogware 7. Critical Path hosted messaging. 8. Domain Name Auction and Parked Pages services.
I expect seven and eight to go nowhere just like the other six.
As long as they offer their services only through their Hicktown resellers, rather than developing national/international recognition Tucows is going nowhere.
Tucows (and shareholders)would be much better off if Tucows would have skipped research and development, dismissed 60% of their employees and bought back 50% of their stock.
I wonder if Tucows will ever offer a product or service that there is actually a demand for.
