Good advice Fan. It too have about 50% in Bonds right now. At my age, I think that's the prudent thing to do. I've played the mutual funds with different maturity targets to insulate somewhat, but I'm not locking in the yields like you do in individual bonds, but I can trade out quickly if need be. Perhaps I should consider your approach again, I got lazy, I suspose - never a smart thing to do when investing. BBT is in my "play money" portfolio, however. I can lose it all and it won't kill me.
