Bet the company executives would like us to stop doing the comparsions too. It appears that however you compare them that returns to the shareholders look bad. Sure are a lot of different posters coming in to try to stop these comparisons or to deflect their point.
What subject would you suggest we discuss. Executive pay verus shareholder return perhaps? Maybe a good dividend increase? The LTIP(Long Term Incentive Program) program for executives? The executive rettirement plan the top executives have in addtion to the regular retirement plan?
Thought the object of the board was to discuss BBT and not just praise their actions. Put your 2 cents worth in not just knock what is being posted.Just my opinion.
Maybe it would be worth discussing the lackluster institutional and mutual fund holdings of BBT. As I look at other, uh, sorry, comparable banks, the institutions/funds seem to hold in the neighborhood of 66%. Fellers, I like links to sources, rather than vague assertions and inflammatory baloney. But that's just me.....
