Warren Buffet might have a long time frame as you say 10/20/30 years, but he just always seems to have a much better return in shorter time frames too. 11/98 which is the date you referrenced in your post it closed at 67,900 on
11/03 it closed at 83,750. Show me any time frame of 5 1/2 years that he had a negative return as has BBT since 12/98.

As to your comment about JA and his owning stock too. Most of his stock has a very low cost basis to him as it has been stock options and grants. A believe he recently excerised some options at $9 or so a share. In his case he has a great profit even at these prices. Let's see his 401k is a 50/50 match and he seems to get options which are good for 10 years and grants regardless of how the stock does. Do you think that really aligns him with the sharholders?

    Just my opinion.
