    Incentive Payout

I can only address the incentives that are paid to the Operations Division employess. Operation division employees that are at a job grade 19 and above normally receive around a 20% bonus in February.

    • A 20% bonus is very generous. What are employees complaining about?

      • I assure you 20% is not standard across the board. A very good lender can expect to receive a 10% payout. I dare anyone to say that this is incorrect. If they do they are lying. BB&T has a system where in theory you can receive up to 50% of your salary as a bonus. I think 3 people in the entire bank got it last year on the small business side. 3 out of 510. Boy that sounds great. Maybe 15-20% of the small business lenders get a payout. Its even less for the commercial lenders. These are facts. Stillgin and some of those other idiots will have you believe it isn't, but I guarantee you that they are wrong. Oh by the way, no matter what your payout is, its still on a substandard salary.

The fact is, good people are leaving the bank. They are leaving for two reasons. Much better pay and much better working conditions. This is straight from Ricky Brown's mouth. I heard it myself.
Bottom line, BB&T is not what is used to be.
