Thanks for sharing, I hadn't seen that. Pretty scary if she's right..I was starting to believe that, macroeconimically, we were starting to come out of this. I still believe BBT's plain vanilla business model will differentiate them from most of the other big banks...but if what Whitney says is true, that won't be much comfort.
I too find the recent downward price action of BB&T very strange. The CFO has already said that there will be a dividend increase this year. Still believe the short interest in the June $32.50 s/p put option (17,500 options) has something to do with it. If the share price doesn't continue to drop I will recend my manipulation thought.
