Well, with the volume you reported and an open interest of only 435, someone had to be covering something. Firms must report both sides as open even if they net to zero unless the position is bought/sold to close.
Someone wanted downside protection for their stock position, but didn't want to sell before it went ex-dividend. Now that they got the dividend, they can unwind the position and sell. The question will be if they are going to stay hedged through the earnings report.
