Beware of shooting stars, they crash and burn in the end. Remember Robert Prechter? Elaine Garzarelli? Others followed them, but each only so long as their luck held out. Yes, those folks are very bright and work hard, and when they are wrong they generally have better reasons for their decision than us mere mortals have for our decisions even when we are right.
There is a lot to worry about in today's market, which reminds me of Marty Zweig's famous comment about bull markets climbing walls of worry. He has always been respected but never went for shooting star status as I recall.
The current conditions are why I invest for the long term, every time I try to to trade short term the market is truly unpredictable.
