IF you have a case to make I urge you to assemble into a cogent theme package documented up, down and sideways and FedEx it to KK.
NO one on this board can do anything that might bring BB&T to fulfill your fantasies / dreams no matter how well you state your case here.
The most important point for you to make, okay one of the most important points, is to show how your bank continues implementation of (BB&T) management's business plan. They will not go off their game plan but there may be a few slots on their team that have yet to be filled.
The other important points are obvious, you will be able to identify them if you are who you suggest.

According to a Reuters report, BB&T Corp (BBT_) CEO Kelly King said at the Bank Analysts Association of Boston Conference on Friday that his company was looking to acquire a bank in Texas with at least $3 billion in total assets. With its largest investor looking for a quick improvement in its investment return and the company already well-capitalized and profitable, Sterling might fit the bill.
