Goes down more than market on bad day and less on good day
What is up with this stock. It goes down more than the general market on a bad day and goes up less than the general market on a good day even though it is 36% off of its 2010 high. I don't get it can someone please explain?
That's rich.....i cannot see how this will trade in the upper 50s anytime soon, without either (a) the company making a real push to buy several large banks and get away from running its balance sheet like a 1970s thrift or (b) merging as a subordinate player with another financial institution.
I guess the stock will eventually catch up with the business. I'm a buy and hold investor. I'll just have to remind myself of Lou Mannheim's saying "Stick to the fundamentals. That's how IBM and Hilton were built. Good things, sometimes, take time"
"I am a buy and hold investor". By investor you may mean "sucker" How long will you wait and are you happy that while waiting, executive management gets million dollar upgrades. I like the Wall Street quote, though, but you need do what Mannheim said...stick to the fundamentals. And these boys aint got 'em, otherwise the stock woould be at $45 now. You need to trade financials, not buy and hold. Just like airlines, and you recall what Gecko said about that.
