I did not think this board was correct. Why was the rest of the world not seeing what they saw?? I'm not a financial analyst, although I took that class in college, I know that BBT is not going to be able to grow loans going foward. They can't take the risk needed to. Someone pointed out correctly, they always want to pay less than market rates on deposits and ask for more interest on loans. Which is great for NIM, but this won't grow your portfolio. Local banks always out compete them because they take more risks and are more nimble in the market. They are in a periliss position 5-10 years from now!!! If 2.5% dividend is ok, stay in, but if you need growth, sell, sell, sell.
