It appears, based on the latest postings to this board, it is a waste of time to to take the time to read it. At one time one could get some good information from some well informed people. That no longer is the case.

I think some of the posters on this Board were actually one person (Norm, Inlet, Stil, etc.). He was pretty old so he might have died. He said he had owned the stock for over 40 years. But as for the info you are looking for, what exactly do wish to know? This is a good stock to trade, if you can time it right, but is a lousy one to own long term.

You really got screwed if you bought any trust preferred stk. Five year call was a cruel joke considering we were paid off in less than 3 yrs. using the Frank Dodd cover.

I'm doing great! Don't think you have ever said anything on this board which proved to be correct. -
Thanks for the reply. I have owned BB&T stock since 1980 and it has been a winner for me. You may be correct about one poster.
