Analysis have said for the past year that TN was
next for consolidation. There are three players there
either of which would give BBK a full plate and
transform them into a major southern force. UPC-Memphis is
probably the envied retail banking operation in the
mid-south. FTEN-Memphis is a powerhouse special products
bank. FATN-Nashville very aggressive banking operation.
Either of these would be(will be) a prize for someone
but will be very expensive. These maybe more bank
than BBK is looking to acquire.
