Have you ever been to Southern WV?????I think not!!!!! If you had, then you would know that all of our roads are not curvy and bumpy, that all of our employment does not come from coal mines, and we are not hippies. Also, with a little research you would know that Matewan Bank has been in existance for more than eighty years. Matewan Banks has grown rapidly in the last ten years and holds a considerable market share. Hillbillies kick ASS...
You asked "Have you ever been to Southern WV"? Well, perhaps you will read all my posts and decide for yourself.
You say "....all of our roads are not curvy and bumpy". That's true, not ALL of them are. But, they are at Red Jacket and some other places. Heck....they are even curvy and bumpy in some places in Wyoming. It's a function of the terrain, not of the populace.
You say "....all of our employment does not come from coal mines". That's true, not ALL of it. But, the public information on file with the government seems to indicate that the economy in Matewan's core market area IS dependent on the coal mining industry. [As an aside, it also indicates that employment in the mines has declined substantially in recent years.]
You say "....we are not hippies." I couldn't agree with you more.
I do not doubt the existence of Matewan in its market. I have been making queries about the MARKET.
