    Re: BBX

I don't remember the details but some time ago I
read a very negative article about the head of BBX...I
will try to find. They recently bought the original
    developers of Levittown, didn't they?

    Let's wait for
STI or do an equal with SOTR. Isn't FLA SOTR's #1
market now? And STI is 3 behind FTU and BA, I
    think.

    Merry Millinium,
    And Best Regards,

    • explain it very well. I was trying to say that
banks may have phased out of the higher multiple land
that they have been in. To stay in Banks may be
fighting the tape. When I meant "broad" I meant BROAD
market moves, and banks in general have flattened out
compared to a number of other sectors. I hope that splains
better, even if you don't agree - which is fine by me.
      Its only MHO after all.

      By the way, I still
maintain that SOTR is a poor connection for BBT because
they are currently imploding. Their philosophy is so
far from BBT's that there could nver be a MOE (not
that there ever is, of course). I still think a better
fit, even after the Tenn. purchase, is ASO. But don't
look for anything big. BBT seems to have rejected that
approach and I assume will stay small. I've decided to
hold the 5000+ shares I hold, because I have a little
other $ to spend, but I will be a passive investor in
banks for the next 90 days or so and see where interest
rates go (or how high they go I gues).

      Regards
and merry Christmas to everyone. Keep on posting, if
for no other reason it keeps this old man interested
      in turning on the
      PC.

      Regards.......
