Acinetobacter baumannii acinetobacter- A genus of gram-negative bacteria of the family neisseriaceae, found in soil and water and of uncertain pathogenicity.

Acinetobacter Bacteriology. a widespread genus of aerobic, Gram-negative bacteria of the family Neisseriaceae, occurring as cocci or short rods and widely distributed in soil and water; some are human pathogens.

I looked this up but I am not sure what it's for. However I think it's similar to acinetobacter calcoaceticus -Although considered to be normally nonpathogenic, this bacterium is one cause of hospital infections, particularly in weakened people.

    • Neisseriaceae is a family of Gram-negative, nonmotile, aerobic, spheroid or rod-shaped bacteria that are parasitic and pathogenic in humans and other warm-blooded animals.

I couldn't find out what this stuff is exactly but it is in the same genus as: Neisseria bacteria which is a family of mammalian parasites, and include gonorrhea and meningitis.

It sounds like more than a few people might get it. I wonder what the other uses there are for this data, rather than developing a cure that is.
