I'm still long, and I still believe that this stock will give us all a ten-bagger one day, but in the meantime I think the next few weeks/months are going to be a little rough.
According to the website, the next milestones have a very vague range (most are "August - September"), so they way things have been going lately, it will likely be mid/late Fall before anything new actually happens. This stock has always drifted downward during these uneventful times, so I wouldn't be surprised to see us back in the $.23-.25 range again soon.
Another thing to consider is that our last data release on 11/14/12 resulted in a 30% decrease in the share price, when we plummeted from .386 to .27 by 11/19/12. The data release before that was on 10/22/12 where we fell 36% from .447 down to .286 by 10/26/12.
As if it couldn't get any worse, we also have the looming dilution that could occur at any time.
Most of you know that my posts are always objective and factual, and that I'm a long-term bull for certain. However, it's hard for me to find much light at the end of this near-term tunnel. For those of you who have the stomach to trade a little and take advantage of these fluctuations, you could grab yourself a bunch of "free shares" by taking some profits now while you still can, then buying back at a lower price shortly down the road. If you decide to do that though, make sure you don't rid yourself of your entire position, because there's always the possibility that you could wake up one morning and realize that this baby has been bought out, or partnered with a larger pharma.
I'm sure this post will generate a few thumbs-down simply because I'm not dancing around in an ONCS tee-shirt and waving my pom-poms, but for those of you who can think objectively, I hope to shed some knowledge and light on our current situation.
Good post tag. I totally agree with you. It really makes me shake my head to see that people DID give you a thumbs down for being open and honest. One positive thing I would say is that ONCS did move into a bigger space recently. Why do that if they don't anticipate succeeding?
Hey Tag, I feel your frustration--Oh, wait a minute--that's my frustration :Q Been invested here with 200,000 shares at .22 and been pined down from taking some profit at times not really knowing when partnership may occur. But I'm not a short-term trader so I'm stayin' the coarse. When I hear all the whining about the price fluctuation, all I have to do is look at the 2year monthly chart and those fluctuations disappear. And maybe this is just my fear talking, but I don't want to be caught with my ars over the john when I hear the Ice Cream truck pull up.
