I just read Nierengarten's full response which is available on Street Insider (ahpinvestmentz, thank you for your post). It's encouraging and I plan to hold for the long haul but AF's article has certainly tarnished the stock and will give investors, especially new ones, pause for a while. Even I, an avowed long, hesitate to add to my position. AF has been wrong before, and many question his agenda (and that of those who feed him information), but he's also been spot on. I hope he's wrong here. Interesting, BTW, that yesterday's haircut stopped right at the 200-day MA.
Ive seen him right and wrong but at the end of the day, i like to have an understanding what the individual's expertise may be and a columnist with a bachelor's in political science vs. an analyst with a PhD in BioChemistry from Berkeley leaves no doubt of who to refer as an expert in clinical medicine data and analysis.
