    • Ypo have too many stocks for this size and risk taken. Agree with GOLD and Regional Banks, missing core stock MCD but you have YUM. Been in market 50+ years anf hope you the best and hope you have deep pockets to buy on dips! Happy 4th!

      • Long is easies to live with. Short can earn money as well, BUT takes a strong stomach.Start with PUTS and you know your loss as soon as you purchase. The downside is TIME! I Currently hold MCD (core holdings), EGO AND AUY (insuranse policy plays), FNFG (div.and growth). I usually buy 500 to 1000 share to a position. Will add only with a 10% profit in that position. FNFG pay a good div. while waiting, 4.8%, also look at LINE for a div. play and Natural Gas that someday will go higher. That can double! Will all take time! Buy only in cash on margin unless you are trading short term. Have a nice 4th!

      • I actually only owned 2-3 stocks at a time, those were from the past 1-2 years, anyways anyone shorting the market would make money from the past 2 years. Never thought about that was the way to play the game.

    • I'm up $58,000 for 2009

I'm down $110,000 from years prior. I took a bath on some homeland security stocks.

FNFG is my only losing position this year. Hopefully it turns around.
