Buy More - Great time to average down.
There is no denying the long term fundamentals for this company and the dividend is still good at 4% and the stock price and div should rise above average over the next two years.
Some miss steps perhaps, but if you research the company, the fundamentals are in place and this is a GREAT place to get into this stock.
There are two types of traders, long term & short. 3 to 5 years is my minimum holding period. You must have bought one company and expected to live on its dividend the way it sounds. To call a company a POS for a multibillion dollar company is shortsighted. If the company has a solid earnings going forward, you should get out. I've had to hold stocks ten years to break even because I bought too high and the market went down taking my stocks with it. I stayed the course, others didn't and lost everything. Some people aren't cut out for stock investing. I believe you'll get your $9 plus, and you may want to look at an annuity, or a CD that doesn't pay much.
>I have trouble with a few people on this forum who will bend over and take whatever this management shoves in them, and then defend them, smile and ask for more.<
Include me out of that group.
I had 20,000 shares of FNFG & averaged in at $8.00 per share over the last several months.
On Tues Aug 7th, I sold all 20,000 of my shares for $8.20 a share. I wanted to stay long term in this stock but I had bad feelings as to price support for this stock. I am so glad to be out of this stock & with a small profit to boot. This has been a scary ride for me with this stock! Good luck to the rest of you still holding FNFG stock!
Congratulations on getting out with a small profit. I have a long way to go just to break even and will dump in a heartbeat if I can get any where near my break even. Management means everything in a company and it PPS action as a lot of us have been reminded here.
Perhaps you should have doubled down with the unreasonable price decline. Long-term investors don't worry about temporary price declines and day traders bail quickly. Investing involves a longer term perspective than you seem to have.
Hey a-hole. This is a public forum so we have a right to say what we want. I invested a lot of money in this company before the idiot CEO ruined it for all of us that have owned for any lenght of time so that gives me the right to speak my mind any way I way.
I guess you want to hear everything is rosey with this company and the CEO is doing a great job. Well look at the PPS idiot then tell me how good it is. I would be willing to bet this stock drops back below $8 tomorrow.
