    Great Synergy

NBCP and CNYF provide a synergy that will provide
considerable value...great strategy by management. It a setup
for the next step...dont be surprised to see a buyer
show up for NBCP in the immediate future

    • Unless someone knows otherwise, this company is
structured in such a way that it can never be sold. I am
somewhat familiar with a quasi-public and mutual mix, but
this one put all of the mutual side into a community
fund. Therefore they give all the money away don't
they? And take tax advantage of the same? The beauty of
this move is to give the upper management all sorts of
stock options and perks without the fear of the stock
holders demanding a sale because the stock is doing
poorly. Really it is the best of both worlds for the
management and sucks for the shareholders becuase they are
in effect powerless to demand change.
      Bet you
wish your job was structured like this.

      • Look at the insider activity, it is very weak so
why aren't the insiders buying? Maybe becasue they
get the stock through a benefits/bonus process and
wouldn't buy into otherwise. Makes you wonder about the
insiders faith in the bank, or better maybe not the bank,
but the value of the stock for the future.
        You
know I miss Buffalo, and still go back when I can, but
this is very typical of how things work up there in
        Western New York.
