The headlines notwithstanding, the company did not guide full year revenue or earnings below consensus. It reiterated its guidance from the last conference call and it always guides low. It said $1.10-1.17 for this quarter and beat it. It did the same thing every quarter last year.
It may open lower but anyone looking to make a big gain shorting at $105-106 AH is likely to be disappointed in my opinion.
I think you are very much correct. I purchased this stock tonight for the first time. I listened to the conference call I thought it was ok. People on call were very confident. After all 16 times earnings is not bad. $7.20 per share earnings look pretty good vs AMZN. We close higher tomorrow then the close after hours.
I've been watching this for years and was long for a good bit from the 50's. Growth is slowing now and they do not pay a dividend. The chart has put in a massive distribution head and shoulders top over the past six months. I shorted on mon and believe it's headed to the low 90's. Great co and great management; saturated markets and slowing growth.
