there will be blow out earnings for SU. I have no doubt their refining margins expanded and they can pull a barrle of oil oout of the ground cheaper then anyone else.
I look for an uptick in their down stream part of the company (refining margins should be excellent) as well as their retail operations with the upcoming summer driving season. Natural Gas output fell, but that is a good thing they sold it at a good price. They also sold off some fields they will not need. Suncor will blowout refining margins. They will blow out the chemical manufacturing and it will be business as usual in the upstream operations. No hidden charges. Add all of this together and you have a record earnings quarter. As for where the stock goes, back to $37. Heres why, the shorts have piled in this quarter and you need to consider them the fuel, the performance in earnings will be the match and we will be off to the races. There will be a jail break from this level to $37
