I do not understand lulu stats. I've been in the retailing trade some 40 years and the numbers I'm seeing for lulu defy logic. Are they possible? With a market cap of $6.4 bill divided by 142 stores, each store is worth $45 million dollars. These are smallish rented stores . With annual sales of $712 million divided by 142 stores, that's $5million dollars annually per each store (an extraordinary number). That's $16,000 per day per store based on a six day week; each day, every day, rain or shine. Are the numbers really possible? If my stats are wrong please correct me. Did I miss something? Thanks
Using my same stats.(only a couple of days old); JC penney with 1108 giant stores with it's huge Internet presence does just under $6 mill per store. But lulu does $5million??? It just does not seem to be possible. Something may be fishy. Still befuddled.
