Despite a strong headwind due to the election and the Fiscal cliff LULU remains one of my core fvorite holdings for all the reasons I have posted in the past .I am not a day trader so it is difficult to be energized by every tick up or down. The positives tht will drive a strong earning are still in place, strong comp sales, good margins, and some excellent new store openings. The key is great products and excellent marketing. They have put the trade on notice about knocking off their designs and believe me this is difficut to achieve incour but they have been successful in this regard. I look for earnings to over achieve again and rate the company a strong buy with a long term targe 12-18 months of $100. The headwinds of an uncertain settlement to the Fiscal Cliff issue and our governments determination to lead the charge in taxing us into another recession is challenging for the market over all but I still see plenty of opportunityfor the fast growth low ticket luxury brands. Going to be harder to be JCP.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
Oraclebaby? Retailbaby? where are you girls? We need further confirmation about the $100 by Christmas. It didn't happen by last Christmas so I penciled in this one coming in about 11 months. Tell us again that it is going to happen. We have to be able to take that to the bank! Please, please, please. Are you still in or are you out?
We've got other posters on this board who think that maybe just maybe LULU will get to $80. Oh, those of so little faith! Who wants 80 when you can have 100. Some of us wanted 100 last Christmas as promised by our resident Oracle and our Retail expert. But the fabulululous stock didn't quite get the message. What we need here is to not fear the fear itself, or something similar. Come on boys and girls, put your buy orders in. For higher and higher prices. Some of us want it to go to 100 before we get old and feeble.
Oracle and Retail. What do u girls say? Is this stock still enhancing the look of your portfolio. Is it going to make a scrumptululus bubble butt by next Christmas or sooner at 100? Or they going to drop their pants and go to 50 or 15 or 5 ? Please give us your guess and speculations. We need some levity on this board.
Well here it is the day after that jolly jolly day of Christmas (boxing day in the colonies - for those who still live there) and we have that butt enhancer moving rocketly down. Oracle, Retail I think we need to admit that we saw this coming. Even around Thanksgiving it started to look a tad bit hopeful. And at Labor day we were all in a tizzy, although I forget exactly what caused that. So we need new year's predictions. So back to the glazed ball you must go. Is it $100 by Christmas 2013? $80 by Easter? Or something between 50 and 80 for 2013? Just for the fun of it remember we all do love predictions cause they are always so wrong. So keep us laughing through 2013. And thanks for the fun of 2012.
Don't rush boys. Take a serious moment and try to imagine your next guesses. Pick a number, any number and let us know that it is important. Oh, and don't forget to put a date on it to. Then we can clearly take it to the bank. Oracle, Retail?
Another day, another high. Was it with this stock though? High hopes is maybe all it is. The fabuLULUous is rocketing sideways to 74.77 and change. And the trajectory seems spent. Oh dear. Oh dear. Just 8 shoppig days to Christmas. Yippee that's only #3.13 per day. It can do. It must do it. Retail, Oracle place your buy orders. Force this piggy to fly. Some of us still want to see you proven right by Christmas. Don't dare disappoint us!
No concern if it does not make it by Christmas. It will make it though. The street needs further earnings trendline data to support the growth trend. The earnings will be there . The short positions will be forced to start covering north of 80. They will probably roll out but that is fine.
Sentiment: Strong Buy
How wrong I am to be discouraged so easily and have any doubts! Me of so little faith! It has just rocketed to $75.99 and the future is just so wide open above. To the stars Alice, not just the moon!
