To: nakedshortk... I don't know if you are just ignorant or malicious. If it's ignorance, I'll point out something for you. The entire stock market has followed this pattern and major components of the DJI would be expected to mimic the path. If you have a vendetta against the company, I would point out to you that if any unsophisticate people are influenced by you, you are hurting them, not the company. My guess is that you could care less if anyone is hurt by your messages. WW
the fact that it's at 107 bears out why it's a great stock to hold. have you been reading about all of the IBM layoffs ??? IT outsourcing ???? that's what it's all about, plus keeping gobs of cash on hand and debt is there mostly to fund sales credit, not to survive or operate ... a very well managed company, whose only faux pas is to buy truckloads of their own stock , instead of juicing the dividend. if anything "should be".. the IBM dividend should be over 4% !!!!!!!! later ... .garce
My reasoning is the opposite of yours at this point. While IBM was a good buy 20-30 points lower, it has had it's bounce to lower highs, IMHO. Instead of the stock price telling me how good the stock is, I look at the stock and have decided that the price is too high now. It's a sell in my book (actually it was a sell late last week).
