Most business can be run without AAPL toys but most businesses can't be run without IBM products

When it comes to run a big successful business, you need IBM but not any of AAPL toys.

    Sentiment: Strong Buy

    • I have long said that AAPL is a gadget maker , then scores want to tar and feather me ... LOL ...
no doubt , AAPL has made a bale of money and countless millionaires , Steve Jobs was a modern
      day PT Barnum .....
I just don't see APPL as an investment ... they have no secular business .... a couple of years ago ,
on the back of the iphone success , i read many stories about the Imac becoming a more mainstream
unit and would give Dell and the rest a good run ... it's still just a niche player and the PC is long in
      the tooth ....
eventually gadgets saturate , become victims of the next best mousetrap , etc .... IBM had made the
decision to get out of gadgets back in the early 80's ... they had the vision to see where the real
money would be .... services , R&D/licensing and software .... yes , even the mainframe is a gadget
and most likely IBM won't be making mains and servers eventually .... garce
