    Starting from the old story of licensing DOS copyright to Microsoft to whatever they have done till yesterday and are planing to do tomorrow makes those who think out of the box believe that they are the REAL International Blunder Machine ...

      They bought Informix, DataStage, Cognos, and many others in their (technology) prime time and had no success in integrating them or giving them any better life that what they had before ...

        Just because you say so?

        The first year for COGNOS was 2008.. During the 5 years after COGNOS it's a fact that IBM's total Net Income went up over 35% and the Operating EPS, reflecting share buybacks, went up over 70%.

        It could have been better -- or worse - but it makes your statement sound silly.
