    Tek,hionblue,Doc,Zero, is it

in the cards, that perhaps we may have another
October in "99 as we did in 1988? Some indicators appear
to me heading that way? Your thoughts on same, @
least I know you will give a honest answer.
    Thanks.Coach Bob

    • all wrong. options expiration i still say just a
shakeout but i remember that every bear market starts as
correction in a bull market. fed sending vibes it gonna
raise rates and market getting spooked off of it.
appears. why ? no inflation---except from oil cause the
doj lett all the oil cos. get together and fix prices
while they went after msft. but i a trader. should not
be a philosopher or blame anyone for my mistake.
should have sold like hell at opening. instead waited
for second wave. still waiting. only two good stocks
today were the two i got out of inkt and qcom. watching
them was taking too much time and
      energy.

      ha.

tek. guess not a real answer. let us wat ch for rally.
real rally next week after options expiry.

    • the market in general or just IBM. I guess I'd
say NO to both. You're no doubt going to see a
downturn in OCT.....it's a seasonal thing. This year may
be slightly better or slightly worse depending on
how these earnings for 2nd quarter start looking.

HOWEVER, in general EVERY OCTOBER...money comes out,
prices go down....earnings come out.....people got money
in their pockets looking for bargains, prices go
back up....Holiday season around the corner....yada
yada yada. Market ends up the year higher.
      Don't
look for anything different this year. Things have
basically been flat since May. Don't expect Greespan to do
anything to upset the year end....too many other issues to
deal with, could send the market into a death spiral.
It's just my opinion of course....but then you asked.
