A 100,000+ Hour Rated Life
The most significant advantage of USLT induction lighting is its incredibly long rated life. The electrodes in a fluorescent lamp typically fail after 15,000 to 20,000 hours. Induction lamps do not utilize electrodes, so their rated life is 100,000 hours (significantly reducing the need for maintenance and lamp replacements). Induction is the preferred choice for industrial operating environments for this reason, where frequent lamp change-outs present serious logistical and safety challenges.
Better Lumen Output
USLT induction delivers a higher quality light output (with an 80+ CRI) that provides a white full spectrum light that is more usable to the human eye.
