Souter listed bank holdings and stocks worth between $5 million and $25 million in 2003, compared with between $1 million and $5.4 million in 2002. Souter's shares of the holding company for Granite Bank dramatically increased after Granite State Banishers merged with another banking firm, Chittendon Corporation.
