I have been an investor in both PETEF and MNVWF for some time now. I disagree with your suggestion that Mountainview gets booted back down near 30 cents a share. What is your basis for that call? Why might possibly happen?
I so rarely see stocks pop 300% instantly on news, short a buy-out. Usually there is a drift upwards, albeit sometimes over a period of weeks rather than months. I am more realistic than optimistic, but frankly, there is no point in selling at $0.20. I am in it to riches or zero at this point.
Seems the Alberta Bakken is trickier then the Bakken in North Dakota. You have to pick and chose your spots. I would guess the Oxy is the 3rd largest oil outfit in the US because they are good at what they do and can hire the very best people. But even if you have to be very careful in the selection your drill sites, Pie has a lot of land - enough to keep an Oxy contingent busy for some time. If they have broken the code, I can see share prices above $1.00 quickly.
