Perfect example of how insane this board can be

In the fiscal cliff thread on this board we had a poster get many thumbs up on 2 specific posts...

One of which he told us that the Average older/retired person/couple had about $35K in savings/investments

That same poster told us in the very same thread that the Average older/retired person/couple had $15K year in investment/dividend/interest income....

I'd like to know where these "facts" came from... and where all these people are parking their money.. I want that return

You guys just 5 star/thumb up anything that defends the pro EPD poster... even when it makes absolutely no sense what so ever

Thats why I know that when my posts get negative ratings... I'm sayin the right things...

After this post is attacked I will take the time to post the links to the posts I'm referring to

    • I am one of these older retired persons and part of the leading edge Baby Boomers born in 1946. If all I had in my retirement was $35,000 I would be really really worried. Like you I wonder how a 35K retirement yields 15K in income.

      Sentiment: Buy
