I don't know what's going on but there's been relentless selling pressure across the sector. You usually see this type of action during big sell offs when these hedgies, who often use these as cash alternatives, are forced to sell do to margin calls but that's simply not the case here. It's starting to tick me off.
To find the selling take a look at the charts. About 35% of volume is in sales of 5K units or more. The retail buyer does not buy and sell in 5K to 50K blocks. The holders of ETFs are redeeming and so are hedge funds. It is absolutely what is going on. The first 15 days of December is a redemption window for most hedge funds. Also take a look at the sales on the EFT/ETNs. Those large sales match the sales pattern for the larger MLPs including EPD.
