My first buy was two years ago and I have been buying on the dips ever since. No regrets. This has outperformed everything I own (except maybe biotech) + a nice distribution. Conceivably, I could hold it forever, receive a 5% distribution on the apreciated value and never pay taxes until I'm dead.
skyrocketing rates would demolish the banks and destroy the housing recovery, ain't gonna happen. some mild normalization here, and in the meantime, for anybody hunting for solid yield and a bulletproof macro trend (us energy infrastructure/export) there are few better places to look than this issue. see you at 65+ by dec.
yes, everyone that bought at 56 is real sorry, rising distributions from that level cover a bond rate increase that will peak at 3% over the next 12 months. Not sure why you would short this or KMP when there are MLPs that are much weaker and not as well run. Or just short AMLP, they will be happy to take your check to cover the distribution on your short shares too. LOL.
I`ve been holding units of EPD for over Eleven Years slowly adding to my position and all I can say is You are Wrong with a capital W and you will eat your words .I`ve seen all of the ups and downs many of them for different reasons but each and every time it has come back in SPADES.
