I hope none of you messed up like I did and Held BWP Too long. I`ve held EPD for Twelve Years and was going to hold BWP for years believing that they were positioned right to become another growth MLP like EPD has been. I should have listened to my considerable Gut and sold at $33.50. Live and learn.

    • Hang in there. Been with BWP 7 years and should have sold at $30 a few months back too! They still have physical assets in place and only 46 million out of 220 million traded yesterday. I stepped up, bit the bullet , and doubled down on my holdings to average in about $20/share. I can wait a few years even with the lousy distribution and may even break even someday?

EPD is my core holdings and my cap gains are really through the roof over the past 5 years. I almost want to cash out here but the cap gain taxes would be a #$%$ and loosing a 7.5% annual distribution is tough to swallow! GLTA

      • Sounds like we`re almost in the same boat. The only differance is I had no funds to double down so my cost remains around $25.50. So I imagine i`ll do the same and hold on for a few years. I would think that ovrer time they`ll increase the dividend. Anyway thanks for the reply.

      • Hey sy - and what about your recapture of depreciation! My basisin EPD is zero even with reinvesting my distributions. I'm holding my BWP and also added below $13. People are acting like it is going BK! Crazy. I did not see any growth but thought Loews would support the distribution. BWP is earning about $1.65 a year so in a while they will be OK.
