I have the same question. TASR was number one on the list of most active stocks during today's extending trading at 3.1 million shares. To contrast that fact, MSFT was number 3 with 1.6 million. I have never gotten my mind around how a stock can trade that many shares without affecting the price either up or down. Go to IBD and search for the term "churning". I don't know if that's what we're talking about here but it's the only thing I've found that makes a reasonable attempt at an explanation.
