I have not heard anything about the government changing its mind about winding down these would have been bankrupt companies if it was not for the taxpayer bailouts.. What is all the pumping about? nothing has changed.
Facts, facts, facts, yeh! From what I can gather from your statements the FACTS are relative to the observer and on which, or whatever side he on in this play.
So, let's no t try to kid ourselves here, pal. I noticed that you, ever soo' smoothly, sidestepped the HUGE and pregnant issue of: if F&F were to be wound down, what organization will step into the void, and perform the crucial services they've been fulfilling for the past 75 years?
Because, as noted in last weeks NY Times excellent article, The Croker replacement proposal could not stand up to scrutiny and fell way short of a panacea and would be a disaster if were implemented and would make everyone yearn for the return of F&F.
Let's just face it, eh; Fannie & Freddie are like the two turds that refused to be flushed, and will endure to serve future generations of American homeowners!
Oh really ??!!...Did you call them yourself and ask ?????
Oh thank you Mr Taxpayer !!! Here's a share of Fannie from me to you as a thank you for the bailout.
Its a good thing we have loyal, credible, trustworthy, all for the people government to help us poor lil folks, and shield us from the evil like of Fannie & Freddie !!!!
look fellow under crony capitalist it failed and cost taxpayers 190 billion to bail out the housing recovery. Under government conservatorship the model is working...what is your problem with that? the consumers and taxpayers have protection under government conservatorship. Cronies that bankrupted the housing market did not put one dime forward for the bailout...Why should they have any entitlement.. your a joke fellow..
