Anyone comparing the situation with Fannie Mae to the lotto is calling our government the house. If you acknowledge that much about our market conditions right now, and can call our government an entity manipulating our markets, can you not see the cause that we stand for? Is capitalism and a free market one in which profitable corporations are confiscated for their shear volume of business and service to the middle-class? Do you give the government of this great nation the same powers that you would give to a communist dictator, a futile aristocracy, or a monarchy? I suspect that many people would, but I stand by my values, and the conviction that we live in a country where our president understands the difference between corporate cronies who sabotage businesses for their political agenda, and a company that strives to provide liquidity in a market where banks are constantly searching for new ways to skirt regulation, ripoff Americans, and defraud investors. If there is true justice in this world, then there is no need to talk about the odds -- the situation before us only deals with absolute certainty. Stay thirsty, stay American, my friends.
Know this dude, the worst thing our government ever did was back private mortgages with Fannie and Freddie. If you don't understand why you are dumb as a farm animal. You are being exploited you just don't understand how and why. EFF all subsidies.
