If Fannie is about to be "eliminated" then why....

Does Fannie have over 230 job openings at the present time?
Is Fannie currently soliciting Univ. graduates for positions such as:
    1) Direct Placements
These opportunities target new college graduates who are not pursuing or eligible for
    professional structured opportunities or internships
    2) Finance and Accounting Associate
    3) Internal Audit Associate
    4) Internships, including: Audit Intern - Finance Intern - Legal Intern

And why does Fannie state on their jobs page:
We believe in helping you flourish in a rewarding career today – while growing your opportunities with us for tomorrow. And we follow through with a variety of training and professional development opportunities.

I IMAGINE THEY WILL NEED A LOT OF TEMPORARY HELP TO WIND DOWN THESE TO FAILED ENTITIES. Look taxpayers were promised as soon as we get our money back they would be winded down. No money collected by the treasury goes toward repayment of that debt.. That is a fact according to the bailout agreement in 2008.. All money collected by treasury is treated as a dividend on taxpayer bailout investment... We still have not even gotten our money back on our investment. We need to hurry this up and liquidate both so maybe that is a plan to hire help to speed up taxpayer money recovery.. taxpayers are not the crony capitalist bankers we want our money back now.. time is up.....

    • i just had to get this back in the eye of the audiene...fannie is hiring over 200 new people yet the anti-fannie forces are trying to shutter their doors! Appalling

    • Point taken, but Worldcom still had job postings when they went belly-up.

      Sentiment: Buy

    • Shouldn't Corker and Warner jump in and put a stop to all this nonsense - I mean they should just go over there to McLean and bar the doors and put a big sign in front: Closed for Business - Out of Business - Jobseekers, Go Away !
