    Class Action and Amitesh...

Well, you certainly have the US jobs moving to India but it is due completely due to the money. It cracks me up to hear you state that a developer with 14 years experience and a degree is losing his job to an Indian fresh out of college because the "kid" is more experienced. I do not think the pattern will change however, no matter how many certificates someone will get. It will be cheaper to do things in India for a while until everything shifts towards China (their currency is pegged to the US while the Indian Rupyee is appreciating to the US dollar....if you do not think this matters check out the Indian companies starting to branch out into China). While India may feel like a down trodden underdog it will do well for them to consider how much "foreign aid" the US received in becoming the great power we are today. We have made our position in the world with our own two hands. Point being, your INTERNAL economy will take you farther then exporting aggressively any day. India should focus on improving their own country now that the Indian economy is growing so massively. Otherwise they will be the same poverty striken country with a rich ruling class as they have always been (an Indian can gloat all he/she wants but until they make their country a place worth immigrating to, like the US, then there is still work to be done).
I have gotten some new people e-mailing me so here is the post again. This is going on as we speak.
For all new readers to the board: The case regarding the class action suit against CSC is ready to rock and roll. I am speaking to a good number of people but I need to speak to a few more. The case is in regards to CSC classifying everyone as exempt and then not using/treating them as such. The awards will be all the overtime due/split to all the eligible employees. There will also be a call for "injuntive relief" which means all current eligible employees will be required to be paid overtime (regardless of the titles CSC wants to use). The damages for the award will be considerable but it is also about people getting what is due them. Send me an e-mail at fgiannet@hotmail.com for more information. The lawyers are fired up and ready to get started, they would not be venturing this far if they did not see a return on their investment.

    • I didn't say anything about the UK, I said over sea's. As for the refrence to New Britain, that's a city in Ct where you are working from, dumbass. Nice try at the ignorant cover though.

    • Another thing,
Since when is it wrong to simply resign from a job. If a person is not being treated decently and you don't believe in your employer or what they are doing? I gave them ample notice and they chose to act like high school children because it pisssed them off. I search for jobs and go on two to three interviews a week, sometimes less and sometimes more. I find CSC doing everything in their power to interupt my job search efforts and keep me from working. Can you guess why? I'll tell you, because when I resigned it pissed them off .. they weren't going to get the work horse they hoped for and were left with nitwits to do my job. They think they are getting away with it to but the joke is on them .. the documentation and testimonials I have accumulated in regard to this will force them to pay dearly for doing it. Just because someone calls CSC looking for background information doesn't mean that party is legit. There are many organizations that do it for a fee and I have employed several and recieved their reports back along with names. So you see, its not about any statute of limitations for being forced to quit your job, that has long since past. Its about damages dollar queen and there is no statute on that kind of loss. Now run along and go tell who's ever ass your kissing l;ately. And while your at it, you can bite it to!

    • Your spittle spat is weak, tired and comes from a jealous, spiteful dollar whore. Yes, I called you a whore because that's all you are, its all you have ever been and its all you will ever amount to. Youre the type that, if you cant suck or kiss your way to the top your only direction is down, where you have become accustomed to being
You feel this way because you know it and you don't have the spine it takes to take a stand, let alone admit it. So you lash out at those who do or did.
You don't pay US taxes to supplement the US labor force for unemployment, the employer does. So go get your knee pads on and get under your boss's desk, he's calling you for his daily collection for that meager check you traded your self respect for.

    • Your not stupid, just quick to jump to conclusions. You just assumed that I was in the UK, sorry your "conclusion" is wrong. Since when does an ex-pat not pay US taxes? Do you know what an ex-pat is?? IF you quit before the recession, then you've been sitting on your butt a long time.
Glad to know that you earned your right not to work and get paid anyway. I'm sure there are a lot of unemployed americans who would love your former job, and to kick you where the sun doesn't shine.

    • You don't help pay for me in any way shape or form. I earned the right to receive unemployment insurance by working, you had nothing to do with it! Besides all that, I thought you told everyone you were from over sea's? As I suspected, you are as about as honerable as you are truthful, which in your case I'm sure you are neither. So how is New Britain anyway? As for quitting in the middle of a recession, how would you know that? You are as dumb as you are mis-informed. And you call me stupid ..

    • Well, he can talk all he wants about integrity after he was RIF'd. The question remains, if he didn't like it there (like he now states on his posts) then why did he stay. Obviously, he has his price as well. If he had a choice to stay, and be semi-miserable, or get RIF'd, my guess he would take the money.

As for you, why would you quit a job in the middle of a recession? Integrity is one thing, stupidity another. But at least you have time to post Ad Naseum on this board and countless others I'm sure. I guess your happier now than when you were earning an honest paycheck. Now I have to help pay for you to be on this message board.

    • Funny, I knew FB had integrity and I waited for him to answer you back as I don't speak for him. I believe this answers your statement rather decisively

    • "..sucking up for a while for a paycheck is better than none. Even FB would argue against you at this point.."

Au, contraire! Once you put a price tag on your integrity, you become no better than the Band of Merry Men. An oft-related account by Oscar Wilde best illustrates the point:

OW, speaking to charming woman: "Madam, would you sleep with me for a thousand pounds?"

Lady: "Why, yes, I suppose I would."

OW: "Would you sleep with me for a thrupence?"

Lady: "Mr. Wilde! What kind of a woman do you think I am!"

OW: "Madam, we've already established that. Now we're just haggling."

    • "Actually the lonely one must be you based on the amount of posts you type on this message board alone."

Typing a post, regardless how many does not make you lonely, I am simply killing time. However stalking someone with an axe to grind does. Like you have been doing, that makes you a derelict, axe grinding psychotic.

"Not to mention all the other ones that you probably visit. Yeah, I'm jealous, possessed, and in awe of someone who quit his/her job with no other prospects. Your so-called self-righteous stance was in reality, stupidity."

That's funny, the dept of labor, my attorney nor I view it as stupidity. Its called dignity, something you will never posses or acquire as you sold yours long ago. I refuse to sell mine for a meager pay check. Why would anyone expect you to understand that?

"So, why are you arguing with Indians who supposedly "took" your job when you just gave it away? I understand the concerns of those who were RIF'd, but not yours."

I have never said anyone took MY job, that's your tongue getting ahead of your brain again. They have effectively shut the door for future prospects in this country and that's why I argue.

"A paycheck, and sucking it up for a while, is better than none, and taking a stance. Just ask all the others who are involuntarily out of work. Even FB would argue against you on this point."

Spoken like someone with no self esteem or dignity. You may as well say you'd do anything for a paycheck. We all have our own motives and reasons tiny dancer.

"You just supplanted Here_Today as the resident idiot on this board. Even he ran when trying to argue with you."

Oh, and who made you the self appointed judge of idiots of this board? Is it because it takes one to know one? I agree, you are more than qualified for that job.

    • Actually the lonely one must be you based on the amount of posts you type on this message board alone. Not to mention all the other ones that you probably visit.
