    CSC Class Action

Great example of what is wrong with the country -LAWYERS- support tort reform

    • And CSC is a great example of what is wrong with the IT industry in this country: outsourcing and doing it on the cheap.

    • Why should anyone support anything that locks him / her out of the system. The whole point of the legal system is to afford people an avenue of redress for a grievance. Of course, if companies acted in ethical, moral manner, the need to sue would be minimized.

Why doesn't the legal profession police itself? Why don't lawyers refuse to take a case because it has no merit? May be because it is his / her profession. Perhaps the because the case does have merit?

What would you do if tort reform came to be and then you found yourself unable to sue a company, a medical device maker, or a doctor?

I want an unencumbered legal system. I want lawyers, judges, and juries to perform his / her job justly. Is that to much to ask for?
