In South Carolina, the governor has resigned within a "week as the release of a critical state audit that looked into the implementation of a new computerized Medicaid processing system for the state. The contractor on the job, Computer Sciences Corporation. Cost overruns of up to $230 million and time delays of up to 22 months in accomplishing the task, according to the audit."
What I particularly loved as (a) NYState warned South Carolina of it's own "experience" with CSC and, of course, that did not matter and (b) the first two contracts were problematic, so the third time was the charm.
WHEN WILL AMERICA LEARN? The BEST IT efforts are through in-house personnel, not cheap-bait-contracts and farm it out to China and India!!!
