CSC being 'restructured' by Boston Consulting Group
The word on the street is that CSC is being restructured by Boston Consulting Group (BCG).

The Boston Consulting Group (BSG) is famous (or infamous) for being ruthless and brutal in 'restructuring'.
The good old piece of S (POS) mormon cayman guy was working in the BSG after his MBA and JD from Harvard.

In fact Boston Consulting has been driving the org structure and headcount for some time and getting comped on positions (not individuals) removed

Consider the many " restructurings " that CSC has performed over the years, serves them right, although I deplore the many American workers being let go in this marvelous economy. But my heart does not excessively bleed.

"Restructuring" at CSC is being driven by BCS with no regard to experience, talent, leadership or value of the individual to CSC. Excellent skills and knowledge are walking out the door. The new organization will be lean and mean but will have little clue how to service our clients.

The new organization is already mean... once the bloodbath(s) are over it will definitely be lean.
PS - Can understand confusing BSC with BCG given the recent holidays and ongoing college football bowls.

Quite possible, the IT security group at Aon (certainly an important asset) has been restructured and some excellent personnel - not deadwood at all - are gone as of 12/31/2012.
