    Is anyone listening?

The analysts who cover this stock must be nursing
the 4th of July hangover. The announcement today
concerning GP and Xerox is huge, and the stock gets driven
lower! Having the rights to the biggest brand in office
papers is enormous, yet it gets no recognition
whatsoever. Anyone got any thoughts on what news might bring
    this stock off the floor?

    • The Xerox announcement was far from huge. The
Brand no longer commands the marketshare it once
enjoyed twenty years ago, since many "private label"
brands came into the market with lower prices.

Many consumers have figured out that most brands of
copy paper work quite well in their
copiers/printers/fax machines, so the buying decision is based more on
      price, then brand name.

      Stop by a Costco store
and you will see a number of brands (including GP)
      selling at very attractive prices.
