ask your buddy what he thinks about them selling some many warrants....and then some more warrants. Its not much different than you or I selling call options against our stock we hold...if we hold stock. Not a bad strategy for a trader. Whomever did that recently is putting those option premiums in their pocket as the stock slides. But that is not a stock you want to buy and be long...unless you are selling those call options.
OMAHA (DTN) -- July corn is down 10 cents, July soybeans are down 5 1/2 cents, and July Chicago wheat is down 8 3/4 cents. Corn prices saw heavy selling volume from commercials shortly after the 8:30 bell as prices broke below their lows of the past six weeks, a new bearish sign. The forecast for warmer temperatures next week will be helpful for planting and Thursday's drop in corn is also pulling wheat and soybean prices lower.
