    Bullish IBD article

Hey HOTpanera... great article, but times are changing & disposable income may not permit such dining treats to satisfy our appetite ...

Just like one can do withOUT TrueBlue, STOKED, DieHard, etc. (see LBIX for details), PNRA faces challenging time$$$$$

    • they do, and were all guessing when we talk about the future.

This point was in the article, and was an often given comment on this board.

"Analysts think Panera is shielded a bit from the worst of the slowdown because of its clientele: They tend to be higher-earning workers. And Panera offers them breakfast and lunch options, relying less on the fickle dinner crowd.

And while its options are costlier than what consumers will find on fast-food dollar menus, most Panera tabs are still a relatively affordable $7 to $8"

That is my cost at Panera, and my cost at the cheaper fast food places. I don't consider a less expensive McDeal meal to be a drop in replacement myself (I like to chose what I want to eat, not what they want to sell me).

The panera's I know have the same business or more (been a customer for almost 10 years).
